Who is Philip Friedlander?
 Philip Friedlander, Chairman of Friedlander Advisory Services, is a seasoned professional with thirty years of business experience and over fifteen years consulting and advising many companies, large and small, domestic and international. He holds a Doctorate in strategic planning and is a retired Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) in addition to several other professional certifications.
He has worked for some of the largest and most prestigious professional service firms in the world, consulting in industries such as manufacturing, chemical, oil, finance, insurance, health care, consumer products, utilities, and telecommunications.
Prior to starting Friedlander Advisory Services, Mr. Friedlander has developed effective solutions in the areas of information technology, performance improvement, knowledge management, and organizational change management. He has planned and managed global change projects spanning many countries and cultures.
For several different organizations he has designed cost-effective solutions, many of them multi-million dollar change initiatives that have had a payback period of as little as one month.
He is a former member of the Information Technology Practices Subcommittee and the Information Technology Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPAs. Mr. Friedlander is also one of the authors of the AICIPA’s IT competency model.
Mr. Friedlander has a history of speaking to organizations such as Beta Alpha Psi, the American Accounting Association, and Business Process Reengineering – Europe. He has also appeared on “Managing with Lou Dobbs” on Cable News Network.
In addition to his history of public speaking, Mr. Friedlander has written articles for professional publications such as Software Engineering, Datapro, Software Magazine, Data Resource Management, Training & Development, Infotech Update, Information Systems Management, Consulting News, Systems Development Management, and Performance Improvement.
